what is FWAC?

content warning
Fight Without a Claw deals with more mature themes not present in the original Warriors series. Please be aware that this fanwork contains: mentions of inbreeding, sexual abuse, forced pregnancy, cannibalism, graphic violence, kidnapping, religious fanaticism, and psychological trauma. Reader discretion is strongly advised.

the concept

Fight Without a Claw is an original fanwork set in a world inspired by Warriors but entirely separate — no canon characters appear, only original cats and their stories. It follows the rise and fall of three distinct groups fighting for survival, faith, and freedom in a forest where the old rules have rotted away.

The story follows three characters, deeply affected by what happened and now dealing with their own actions, memories, and mistakes.

the groups

The Cloudchasers — celestial worshippers who turned kidnapping into tradition. Ruled by a line of leaders whose names passed from suffix to prefix. Destroyed from within after nearly twenty-seven seasons.

The Roots — built on the wreckage of the Cloudchasers, led by Lambthroat. They worship the willow and nature, perform twice-season sacrifices, and desperately try to believe they are nothing like their predecessors.

HCP (Host, Care, Protect) — a small resistance group formed to rescue prisoners. No fixed camp, no hierarchy, only the promise that no one is left behind.
